Well, we’ve had a good run on the road for the past 7 weeks. We had a great time with our friends in Ruth, Wavorly, and Nevertheless. There are an endless amount of amazing people that took us into their homes with open arms and treated us so greatly. Thank you so much—you know who you are. It is wonderful to go out to distant places and receive so much support and kindness. We have one more show to close out the month of July…
This Friday, January 25th, at Midnight, we are making our debut at D Fest in Tulsa, OK. We are pretty pumped to share the bill with such a great array of solid bands. For more info on that, check out www.dfest.com.
We are spending a few days in the studio here in Nashville getting stuff in motion for the new album due out in January of 2009. Equally exciting, we are little over a month away from the release of our new EP. Be watching for more info.
Hello Everyone,
The past few days have been both encouraging and amazing. Cornerstone was really good to us. We want to thank all the wonderful people who came out to our shows and made it such a great time for us all. It is incredibly exhilarating to look out and see a huge tent packed completely full of people all coming together for the common goal of enjoying music. At that moment, it feels like we are all united. That is quite a feeling. Thank you for making that possible. Kelsey will put up a video soon of some of the footage.
Our tour is going well. We played our last show with Ruth, Wavorly and Nevertheless last night and we will miss them all very much. It’s great to tour with a group of guys and make friends with them after only a few days. We’re looking forward to crossing paths with all of them again at festivals and random dates throughout the Summer.
Although that portion of the tour is over, we’ve got a bunch of shows coming up with Coin Laundry Loser throughout July. So far the shows with CLL have been great. We’ve been playing shows in Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, and Tennessee which were great. Many people have opened their homes to us and we’ve been warmly welcomed at every stop on the tour.
